On 09/11/2020 by Jean Schultz

Some people might find it hard to identify their own personal type but there are a few easy ways to tell what your skin needs are. Determine your skin type

Do you know your skin type? There are many different types of skin, and it’s important to identify yours so that you can take care of it accordingly. Skin comes in a rainbow of colors and textures, with some people having more than one type on their face. This blog post is about how to determine what your skin type is. It will give tips for taking care of dry skin, oily skin, sensitive skin, etc., depending on which type you have identified as yours.

According to the American Academy of Dermatology, there are five skin types: oily, dry, normal (combination), sensitive, and acne-prone.

The first step in determining your skin type is to figure out what season you’re in. Are you experiencing a lot of humidity or do you live in a region with extreme temperatures? If so, your skin may be more prone to being dry and flaky. However, if this isn’t the case for you then it’s safe to assume that your skin is either oily or normal (combination).

A few other things that can help determine which category your skin falls under include how often do I sweat? Do I spend time outdoors during the day without sunscreen protection?

Since skincare is so important, it’s crucial to know what type of skin you have. Knowing your skin type will help you learn about the products that are best for treating your individual needs and make sure that the products on the market are safe for your unique complexion.
